Day 4

I went to bed last night at around 7 and slept all night long. I put another blanket on the bed so I wouldn’t get cold and the heating pad at the bottom was turned on low. I got up this morning to snow and wind so I didn’t go running today. When I weighed in I was at 186, right where I started 3 days ago. Hunger left me alone today, I did really good. I ate my tilapia salad at work and after work I went to my daughters house and had an artichoke. I don’t know if that was on the list or not but it was the first time I had one where you had to pick and eat the leaves. When I got home I had my 3 ounces of chicken breast and an apple and went to bed. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead.

Day 3

Okay here it comes. I weighed 190 this morning. I didn’t get to bed until 1:30am and then I got real cold and curled up in a ball and tried to get some sleep. The alarm went off at 4:30 and my feet were still cold when I got up so I turned the heater on in the bathroom and sat there until I felt warm again.
I forgot to take my shot this morning before I left for work and didn’t remember until around noon when I started feeling hungry and didn’t know why and then I realized what happened so I called my husband to bring it to me. He’s so good to me he brought it right away and even injected me. I felt better after lunch, which was iceberg lettuce and tilapia with vinegar dressing.
We had another busy day at work today, we only had to preset for 6 arrivals but we had twenty refreshes to do. I was so exhausted by the time I got done I felt like I could sleep for years.
When I got off work at 3:30 I wanted to go to the restaurant at the Club house and get something to eat but I remembered I was on this diet and couldn’t start thinking like that or I would get into trouble.
At 5 I fixed me a salad with chicken and had some strawberries with it, yum. I think I’ll have some tea and go to bed early tonight.

Day 2

After all I ate yesterday I thought for sure that I would have gained a couple of pounds but I still weighted 186 this morning. Tomorrow has to be a gain. My gosh, you wouldn’t believe what I’ve eaten today. For breakfast I had a 4 egg omelet with sauerkraut, avocado, mixed peppers and cheese and then a brownie and thin mint ice cream. I had to finish off the ice cream so it wouldn’t be hanging around for the next few weeks. My husband saw what I had in front of me and about died. He said “are you going to eat all that” and I said “ I’m sure going to try.” And I did.
We are so busy at work that we barely have time to sit down for a break and no time for lunch so I stopped at the grocery store and bought 4 bags of Easter chocolates and jelly beans, that way I could eat fat day long. Oh, and then my manager ordered some pizza and I had 3 slices of that. When I got home I sliced and ate a whole avocado and ate more of the candy that I didn’t finish at work. Marium said I probably won’t lose as much weight this time or as fast as I did before so I have to prepare myself for that so that I don’t get disappointed if the weight doesn’t come off as fast as I want it to. We’ll see how it goes.

New Series Day 1

I’m baaack!

I went into the spa today to get weighed and get my first shot for my second series. I weighed in at 186. So in the last three weeks I have gained back 5 pounds. My job is very stressful right now and my father in law died the day before Valentine’s Day and so I had to go to Idaho for the funeral and I admit I found some comfort food there and ate more of it than I should have, but I also have been running and exercising so it could be muscle too because I am staying right around 186. I really haven’t had an appetite for fish or chicken lately. In fact I haven’t eaten any for 3 weeks. It will be nice to get back to simple foods again. I already went and bought some more tilapia. I couldn’t get any of my family to eat the diet food with me and that kind of made it hard to want to fix anything nutritious.

Today after I left the spa I went to McDonald’s and got a big breakfast, 3 pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, a sausage patty and a biscuit. Oh, and some mini cini buns. Then I went to my daughters and walked with her and the kids to take them to school and 1 lap around the track and then I went to In and Out Burgers and got a double double burger, fries and a chocolate shake. When I got home I found the chocolate covered macadamia nuts and ate the whole jar then I went to the Blue and Gold banquet and had a taco and a couple of brownies for dessert. I am stuffed. I am going to bed. I hope I can sleep and not have any nightmares about food.
