Day 39

Finally a great day at work. Everything went smooth, just as planned. We even got ahead today. I lost 1 pound and that even added to the excitement. Everyone got along and that relieved a lot of my stress. Hopefully my hair will quit falling out now. 4 more days of maintenance. I had a chicken breast for lunch and an apple for a snack and we went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner and I got the steamed broccoli, a chicken breast and a garden salad with no dressing.

Day 38

10 minutes short of a 12 hour work day. BUT, I got to eat lunch today. Spinach and strawberries. When I got home, after 8, I was so hungry that I ignored my no eating after 7 pm rule and fixed some beef and broccoli for dinner. Now it’s bedtime.

Last night I went to bed just after 10 pm. I laid on my right side and when I woke up this morning at 4:30 am I was still on my right side. D’ya think I was tired? When I stood up the room started spinning real bad, I could hardly stand so I laid back down till the dizziness went away and I got up again but it was still there. I forced myself to walk down to the kitchen and get a drink of water. My body kept wanting to go to the right. It was like when I was little and my dad would spin me around and then laugh because I couldn’t walk straight. I weighed myself (175#) and changed into my running clothes but decided that I had better walk this morning instead. It was hard walking in a straight line but I made the 3 mile circuit in about 35 minutes. I started feeling better by the time I left for work and it didn’t bother me any more today. We’ll see what happens in the morning.

Day 37

One more week to go on the maintenance portion of the diet. I am still 175 pounds. Today was my Monday and it was supposed to be an easy day but one girl had to go to the work med place and that set us behind so I didn’t get a lunch again. I ate an apple while on the go. After work I had roundtable and I didn’t get out of there until 9:30 so by the time I got home it was to late to eat so I just went to bed. I was going to drink a lot of water today but time got away from me and I only got about 4 cups down me. When I get dehydrated my lips start to chap and they are so I am. Drink more water Sharon.

Mistakes happen

Okay so I get all the stones layed down that we have and guess what? We don't have enough. I kind of knew in the back of my head we probably wouldn't have enough. I would just buy them as I could through the winter and I knew Lowe's was running low on them so we run down to Lowe's anyway to see if they have more and guess what? They have discontinued the color we want and the ones they do have are $2.00 per stone. No way am I going to pay that so I ask the guy " what are you going to do with the display because that's about how many more stones I need to finish my project" and he says " we are tearing it down at the end of the week and you may have it free of charge" Great! All I have to do is figure out how to unglue them from the plywood that they are stuck to. The patio will be smaller than I want but at least it will be squared off.

I worked out in the backyard today and guess what? I even took some pictures. My body is so sore right now though. I bet I sleep good

Day 33

175 must be my new set point because as much as I run in the mornings and at work I’m staying right there. I didn’t get a lunch again today but Terry and I went to Slice of Tuscany and had a chopped chicken salad. I haven’t had one of those for so long and it sure was good. I’m back up to running 2 miles a day. I think my body is craving it now.
