I signed the girls and I up to volunteer for Disney's give a day get a free day at Disneyland. Josie, Taylor and I made blankets for the Linus Project. We started all this back in January and we had 30 days to complete the project. After we finished we received the 3 passes for Disneyland and the very next week I found out that the million pass limit had been reached in the first 7 weeks of 2010. WOW, Disney was not expecting it that soon, I'm so glad we did it early.
I decided to take the girls on Josie's birthday since it was on a weekend and all. Molly went with us, she used Sarah's annual pass so we all got in for free, kind of, we upgraded to a park hopper so we could go to California Adventure as well. What a blast!.
We left on May 14th right after school drove to Vegas and picked up Molly and drove on to Cali. Molly drove from Apple Valley because she knew the freeway better than I did. We got to Long Beach around 9:30 and went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and then went upstairs to see Robin Hood. We got back to Molly's around 2am and crashed. We got up early the next morning to head to Huntington Beach, after all the chasing around (getting breakfast and something for lunch and all Molly's errands) we got the the beach at 11:00 laid out our blankets, got our feet wet (when I say our, I mean mine, the girls jumped in all the way) ate lunch and played a couple of abc games. By then it was time to do some shopping and get ready for an early dinner with Molly's boyfriend Jeff. He got my stamp of approval.
Coming soon!
